Mind Candy is based in London and develops new types of Social Multi-Player Online Games. Our first product was the groundbreaking Perplex City, and we are now 100% focused on an exciting new game for children called Moshi Monsters (a cross between Tamagotchi, Brain Training, and Facebook for kids).

Interactive Designer
Salary: Dependent upon experience + share options
Overview:
Based in our studios in Battersea, London, you will be responsible for working on all design facets of Moshi Monsters, a new virtual world and online game where kids adopt a unique, animated Monster from the world of Monstro City, and then nurture it by interacting with other Monsters and solving the daily puzzle games it sends them.
Responsibilities / Objectives:
- Interface design & production
- Interaction / UI design & research (wireframes, etc)
- Overall design direction
- Interactive Flash-prototypes of interfaces where necessary
- Occasional print design work
- Occasional Flash coding
- Occasional (and minor) animation work
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Flash
- Knowledge of Illustrator
- Knowledge of Photoshop
- Experience with version control
- Iterative, feedback, and test-driven designing
Desired Skills:
- Design experience with kids consumer web sites a BIG plus
- Familiarity with AS3
- Familiarity with cross-browser HTML/CSS
- Print design experience
- Eclipse with FDT
